the rain was expected...but it's not as bad as it looks...

must have been heavier a few hours ago by the look of that puddle...

almost 1,500 miles on the trip so far...

mileage for yesterday...not too bad as I ventured to the local Maccies and another run out to an Aldi...

as soon as I crossed over the Swiss border the rain stopped...

there was almost an hours delay on the motorway so the GPS gave me this alternative route...

I thought what the heck and gave it a try...

views were stunning...

what a view...

although the views were stunning I was now beginning to wander if I'd made the right choice to leave the motorway!!..

and I'd been flashed by a speed camera...

a change of camera's...I really do need to do a full factory reset on it...

I think I have the ISO set too low!!..

it's starting to get really cold now...

it wasn't long after this that I had to turn around and go back to the motorway...

I should have guessed by the volume of traffic I shouldn't really be taking this route!!..

although the road looks pretty clear at the moment I soon got caught in my first blizzard of the journey...
