after starting to incur hefty bills for repairs on Di's MK3 Cabriolet it was time for a change,,,

out with the Golf and in with a Beetle...Cabriolet that is...looks stunning alongside my MK3...

can't put the plates on until the logbook comes back in Di's name...

finally got the logbook back in Di's name...personalised number now off retention and onto the car...

Di's first of many trips as a driver onto mainland Europe...June 2016...

and as you can see doing this one solo...as I'm on a scooter...

on a campsite just outside of Dunkirk...Di's loading all the gear into the car...just waiting on the tent...

and for me to repair a puncture on my scooter...soon be on our way...

just fuelled up...Di's nipped into the Carrefour Hypermarket for something cold as it's over thirty degrees...

at least the scooter tyre is still up...

the reason why Di's parked in a country lane somewhere in France!!..I'm repairing my second puncture of the day...

we finally got there...and what a cracking weekend it was...
