For us the rally season starts with the first national of the year...no pre season do's...no winter warmers...just the Easter rally

first stop for petrol...although the sun was shining it was f*ckin' freezing...this was on the A38 in Derby...it was 8:30 and we actually bumped into other scooterists on here heading to Whitby...

on the M1 this time...we'd just had a half hour break for a McDonalds breakfast...the nice thing about a McDonalds on a service station is it's the same price as the high street...

Jack dithering...it's still f*ckin' freezing...

Marvin's second flat in two weeks...it wasn't a puncture just a poor quality tube...I actually had to turn around and come back to change the wheel for him...

the tyre is almost brand new...put on new two weeks ago...couldn't find a quality tube in my garage though...the local bike shop only sells V-Rubber tubes...

scooters passing us by...

almost done...

the wire that you see on the spare wheel cover is to an accessory socket that we use for charging phones and blowing up air beds...

in years gone by I would take the sidepanel off and put crocodile clips on the battery...they use these sockets on Honda Goldwings so a few years ago I thought I would improvise and this is what I came up with...no drilling the body work and you don't have to take the sidepanel off...
